1. "My Sassy Girl" - SBS

This is the highly anticipated TV adaptation of the largely successful Korean movie of the same title. However, this upcoming TV series will come with an exciting twist. As historic dramas are so popular these days, this romance series will take you back to the Joseon Dynasty period. A thrilling romance will bud between the cold-hearted Gyun Woo (Joo Won of "Good Doctor") and the lovely Princess Hyemyung (Oh Yeon-Seo of "Please Come Back Mister") who seems to constantly get caught up in troubles.
The series started to film in August 2016, but its release date remains unknown.

2, "Tomorrow With You" - tvN

Not much has been revealed about this new drama series of tvN, but it was teased to tell a story about a real estate expert, who happens to be a time traveler and his photographer wife. The fictional theme that comes seems exciting, which makes us wonder if it will adapt the plot of the international movie "The Time Traveler's Wife."
"Tomorrow With You" will take a Friday and Saturday 8:30 p.m. time slot on tvN, and will be starred by Lee Je-Hoon ("Signal") as Yoo So-Joon and Shin Min-A ("Oh My Venus") as Song Ma-Rin
The series already started filming in September and is expected to air in 2017.

3."The Package"

The story of this big production TV series, which is filmed in France, revolves around Yoon So-So (played by Lee Yeon-Hee of "Miss Korea") who works as a tour guide around cities in France. She is then appointed to lead a group of tourists, where each one appears to join the trip for interesting personal reasons. The travelers who listed in the tour package all have their own stories.
Choi Woo Shik ("Ho Goo's Love") will be an office worker who has been dating for 10 years. Jung Yong Hwa ("The Three Musketeers") plays a man who joins a trip to mend his broken heart after being dumped by his girlfriend. Other characters are set to join the three on the trip where everyone tries to be a part of the others' lives and build relationships with each other.
The interesting characters in the story and the fact that we are going to examine their lives as they take us on a virtual tour in France make it a drama really worth looking forward to. The series will have 12 episodes and is slated for release in early 2017. Rumors say JTBC network will pick up the show.

4. "Ruler: Master of the Mask" - MBC

Another historical drama is set to hit the small screen in 2017 through "Ruler: Master of the Mask." A story set in the 1700s, the crowned prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung-Ho of "Queen Seondeok") is tasked to fight Pyunsoo hwe, an organization that gained its power and wealth by selfishly privatizing the water sources all over Joseon. Ga-Eun (who is yet unnamed) is Lee Sun's love interest who will help him grow as a good ruler.
The show's production is set to start filming in December, but its premiere date is still unconfirmed.

5. "Man to Man" - JTBC

This anticipated drama series will tell the story of a famous actor (played by Park Sung-Woong of "Remember-War of the Sun") and his bodyguard (Park Hae-Jin of "My Love from the Star").
The writer of the mega-hit TV series "Descendants of the Sun" Kim Won Seok will pen the plot of this upcoming show. It will talk about a special bodyguard who has special skills that he has to use to protect a famous Hallyu star. 2016 most popular Korean actor Song Joong-Ki was previously confirmed to take a cameo role in this series, which makes the show more worthy to be in the "must-watch list" of K-drama lovers.
"Man to Man" already began filming on Oct. 17, but its air date and time slot in JBTC are still unrevealed.
