Sepp Blatter Fifa press conference: 'I do not fear arrest by the FBI'

A bullish Sepp Blatter has insisted that he is not afraid of the American authorities, nor has he been in contact with them. When asked if he feared a potential investigation, he replied that he had “no concerns”.
Blatter also denied knowledge of $10 million received by corrupt FIFA official, Jack Warner. He declared that he would not speak about Warner or any other official, before adding "The only thing I can say is I
have no 10 million dollars."
The FIFA President did, however, appear more conciliatory when discussing FIFA’s relationship with its sponsors, which could withdraw their support for the organization in the light of this latest scandal.
Blatter sought to differentiate between “sponsors” and “partners”, before admitting that he has promised to visit these companies in person, likely fearing the loss of their backing.
Nevertheless, the 79 year old reasserted his belief that he is the best person for the job, and once again promised to steer the FIFA ship into steadier waters.
