#DSTV Multichoice increases there subcription rate on DSTV, GOTV- See new rate



On Sunday Multichoice announced that they would be making an upward review on their subscription price by five per cent on all DSTV and GOtv starting from May 1, 2017.

As a result, Nigerian subscribers on the DSTV Premium Bouquet will pay N14,700 instead of N 13,980 currently been charged. GOTV Plus subscribers will have to pay
N1,900 instead of N1,800.

The company also said that the increment will also affect other Bouquet. Compact Plus DSTV subscribers will pay a sum of N9,900 instead of N9,420. Compact subscribers will pay N6,000 instead of N6,300.

The family Bouquet would pay N3,800 instead of N3,600 while Acess bouquet will pay N1,900 instead of N1,800. The commercial Bouquet is N1,720, but are expected to now pay N1,850 monthly.

The fee on the High-definition decoders and extra view remains the same. A text message was sent out to some of its premium subscribers it reads:
"Dear DSTV customers, due to a price adjustment, your premium package fee changed from N13,900 to N14,700, effective May 1, 207".

For Gotv valve and Gotv lite bouquet, their new rate is N1,300 and N450, against the current rate of N1,200 and N400 respectively.

The new increment came a year after a 20%  raise on its subscription.
